Those of you who attended Andrew Brandou's exhibition "Everyone's Happier Now That You're Gone" in June probably remember the installation of gold balloons.

On the last day of the exhibit we let our collector and friend Jeannie come in with her dog Little Bit and let him run loose in gallery.

Focus on Miami

The art world descends on Miami in early December to take part in the largest gathering of international galleries, artists, museum curators, and collectors in the world. 2006 will see at least 11 concurrent shows with an excess of 500 participating galleries. Each fair will host several private openings, parties, and special events. The private collections of the Rubell and Margulies families will be open, while local museums and other organizations present fair-related exhibitions.

Below we have listed information about these 11 shows — and noted some of the galleries that will be participating.
